Attention all Buharists: The man who stayed the shortest time in Nigeria as leader was General Murtala Muhammed yet what he did is still in our memory. All I keep on remembering of the nan named Buhari was the evil he imposed on the country while his era lasted. 1. If one of those three young men that were shot by firing squad under the watch of your hero was your brother or uncle, would you still be clapping for Buhari? 2. If Umaru Dikko who was drugged and boxed by Buhari agents in London with a mission to transporting him to Nigeria illegally was your grandfather, would you still be calling Buhari your hero? 3. If you were told that Buhari was not happy with the Naira that was stronger than the US Dollar and he began the processed of its destruction. Would you hail his action? Would you believe he could restore our economy? 4. If you were told that the only food stuffs available under Buhari were the rice, sugar and other canned food that your parents had to queue to buy under the Buhari regime at a high price, in fact the only available food in Nigeria was beans, would you say he did well? 5. If you were told that those who made Buhari the Head of state were ignored while his evil rule lasted, and all they had planned to do were jettisoned, would you hail him? 6. If you heard any member of the Pa Ajasin family told you the excruciating pains the man was subjected to despite the fact that he did nothing wrong as the governor of the old Ondo state and the man happened to be your relation, would you still be hailing Buhari? Ask Dare Babarinsa to fault me. 7. If one of all the former UPN governors the man sentenced unjustly by Buhari was your grand father, would you be happy seeimg the man coming back to power? 8. If your relation is any of these Busari Adelakun, Bisi Onabanjo, Prof Ambrose Folorunso Ali, Ayo Ojewumi etal who were locked up for allegedly enriched their party, UPN, that led to their death, would you still be calling this former tyrant your hero? 9. If your grand father was Dr Alex Ekwueme who was the vp to President Shagari who was unjustly locked up in the Kirikiri prison for doing nothing while his principal was put in house arrest, would you say Buhari is your hero? 10. If your grand father was Papa Obafemi Awolowo whose house was turned upside down by Buharis soldiers searching for incriminating materials which forced him to go abroad for medical check up, would you still be calling this man, hero? 11. If your father had told you that he wanted to take you to perform holy pilgrimage when you were a teenager but Buhari stopped him and till now, there has never been another opportunity and you were told that Buharis deputy was allowed to take his own teenager to Mecca, would you still be hailing him? 12. If you have been denying visa to travel to UK and you were told that those who carry passports of other commonwealth of nations do not need visa to enter he same country all because of Buhari, would you still be celebrating this man? 13. If you were told that Buhari allowed the father of his ADC, Jololo, and his family friend to carry 53 brief cases into the country with an order not to search any of them, would you still be saying the man is not corrupt? Ask Atiku Abubakar who was the custom officer at the Ikeja airport. 14. If you were told that Buharis house in Kaduna was built for him by the PTF while he was the chairman, would you say, he is the best man that has ever surfaced on our political scene? 15. If your father was the late Tayo Akpata who was the Executive Secretary of the PTF but Buhari forced Abacha to make him the Executive chairman because he would not serve under a bloody civilian and this was done! Would you say he is not one of those responsible for where we are as a nation? 16. If you were told that while other former Nigerian leaders were keeping away from the expired maximum ruler, Abacha, because of his anti-people policies, it was only Buhari who worked for him? What would be your reaction? 17. Till today, some of the looted money by the same Abacha are still abroad but Buhari said Abacha did not steal one kobo would you still be saying he is the best leader? 18. If you were told that Buhari detained the duo of the late Emir of Kano and the Ooni of Ife for lawfully traveled to Israel under the watch of Buhari, how would you react? 19. If you were told that of all the former Nigerian leaders, it was only Buhari who hailed the introduction of the Sharia legal system which laid the foundation for the terrorism, how would you react? 20. How would you react if you were told that until he desired to rule again, Buhari had never said anything against the Boko Haram terrorists? 21. How would you react to a former Head of state and a presidential candidate who is lying that his credentials are with the military when the reverse was the case? 22. Some new converted Buharists have been telling us that all the evil Buhari did was as a former Head of state but what about his unguarded utterances that have led to the killings of many including some youth corps in Bauchi because he lost election in 2011? 23. What about his public support for the Boko Haram like his opposition to the state of emergency in the North east? 24 What about his appointment of his brother in law as the sole consultant of the PTF under Abacha whose performances were anything but corrupt-free? If someone claimed he is not corrupt but those who worked under his supervision, would believe him? 25. Was Buhari still in the military when he snubbed the invitation to appear before the Oputa panel to defend his human right violation records? 26. Would you believe Buhari that he could fight corruption with the calibre of the people who bankroll his flamboyant campaign of today? 27. Buhari was in Bayelsa state recently where he raised the hand of Silvia who is still facing a list of corrupt charges up to return as the governor to the same state he looted those billions of Naira. Is this your anti-corrupt czar? 28. Would you say a man who said if he lost the coming election, the baboons and the monkeys would shed their blood is your own kind of hero? 29. Buhari and his team have been boasting they would fight corruption and insecurity, how would you react if you were told that any National Council of State meeting where the issue of insecurity challenges was listed would not have Buhari in attendance.Would you hail him for this? 30. Till today, Buhari has never apologised on all the evils he did as head of state yet his spin doctors ask us to forgive and forget, would you accept if your familya was among the victims of his tyrannical rule like the duo of Tunde Thompson and Tunde Irabor who were jailed for publishing story that was regarded as an embarrassment to his regime.
