There will be a critical incident training scenario taking place tomorrow afternoon at South Forsyth High School. The Forsyth County Sheriffs Office will be conducting this training with School Safety, the Fire Department, EMS, EMA, and other agencies. It is likely that you will see or hear a lot of activity if you are in the area of 141 and Ronald Reagan tomorrow afternoon as this is a large scale training operation. Here are some details: • Students were scheduled for early release, the training will take place after students are off campus. • Students and parents were notified of this training by the school system. • Once the training starts, the campus will be closed to all non-participants for safety reasons. • There will be deputies at each entrance to the school as well as signs alerting people to this training. • Although you may hear loud noises, NO live rounds are being used in this training. There may also be helicopter activity. • There is no spectator area for this training, please do not congest the area. We will be presenting details in Facebook posts tomorrow during the training as well as next week.
