The story I’m working on is about the Lost Summer that law grads experience in those months before they take the bar. For law grads, it’s such an intense summer, and such a contrast for everyone else, who is (theoretically) off having fun on vacation or at the beach. Every law grad seems to have their story of crazy study rituals leading up to the bar, their own personal stress-management techniques, etc. I’m just looking for good, colorful anecdotes about what that Lost Summer feels like from the inside. Do you stay at home or escape to someplace peaceful? Do you rent a house with other law grads to study? How do you stay sane with all that’s riding on it? Are you jealous of everyone else who can just enjoy their summer.
