Attention fellow sci fi and fantasy geeks who may be authors or wannabe authors (I being among the latter): I am toying with the idea of organizing a sci fi/fantasy writers group together in the St. George area. The basic concept is to meet together once a week and bounce ideas off of each other and possibly offer constructive reviews of each others current projects, and perhaps see to bringing in a professional once in a while to help educate us on such things as independent Internet publishing vs. going through an establish publisher, and so forth. This idea is in its infancy and is subject to revision as it progresses.
