Atti and the Rockbottom Farm heifers check each other out. I - TopicsExpress

Atti and the Rockbottom Farm heifers check each other out. I was told that despite the Currier and Ives paintings of a verdant colonial New England, this type of landscape was more the norm. Here`s why---The first step, clear the trees. Next step, plant grass around the stumps. Third step, wait a few years while the stumps and roots start to rot, and become easier to dislodge. Then turn the fields into more of a finished product. That`s what`s happening here, I believe. The trees were cut about 3 summers ago.
