Attorney brought us the paperwork today saying we are Tesss parents. It wont be final for six months, but she is ours! A little bit of information on her. Please dont ask us for further details, we cannot and will not give them. Tess has had a minor heart surgery. She also has a feeding tube. She also has an issue with her thymus gland and will need a transplant, they are speculating, in about a year. Tess and I will be traveling to Duke University in NC and living there for six months for her transplant. Mark will travel to us every few weeks because we cannot live without him. Tess is very medically fragile and cannot be around anyone sick, at all, until after her transplant. She will essentially be living in a bubble inside our home until we leave for NC. The prognosis is very good for her condition. We just have to be extra careful with her. And we will be.
