His condescending mother, manipulative wife, arrogant son, and sadistic boss have sucked him dry of any passion he once felt for life. When harmful secrets are revealed, judgments and resentments are aired, and Les beings to feel there is no escape for his imploding life; but soon he develops a plan that, if executed, will not only allow him a break from work, but from the life that is tearing him apart.
