August - UX/UI Production Designer august August is seeking an UX/UI Production Designer to be involved in the design of our mobile and web applications. The UX/UI Production Designer will work with Augusts design team to create/edit visual design specs and prototypes. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, highly organized, has a high level of creativity, and is prepared to work in a dynamic and rapid development environment. A quick wit and sense of humor is also a big plus! Responsibilities Work with existing UX design, visual design, and product management teams to define/refine visual and UX design language for August Android, iOS, and web applications Develop and maintain pixel-perfect visual design specs and redline comps for Android, iOS and web products Maintain asset libraries quickly and efficiently in various resolutions for multiple device types Iterate quickly in a fast-paced development Minimum Qualifications Expert proficiency with Adobe Illustrator CC, Sketch, or other vector graphic applications Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with visual platform guidelines for Android and iOS BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, or a related field or equivalent practical experience. Core design skills; ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively. Ability to design/refine icons and custom controls Ability to create/manage technical redline specifications and asset libraries for Android and iOS Even Better Experience with interactive UI prototyping using Hype, Axure, Invision, or similar tools Ability to define and specify responsive design behaviors for web applications To apply please contact us at jobs@august.
