August 15, Day 6 - Grand Teton to Yellowstone: Enjoyed the sunrise on the Tetons while Mary enjoyed sleeping late. Apparently a skunk felt threatened by the odor of my sandals and peed on them during the night to prove that he was more odiferous than I am. I surrendered to his superior stink but Mary declared it a tie so I didnt throw them away. Left Tetons and saw two cow moose cross the road on our way to Yellowstone. Stopped at Lewis Falls, Natural Arch, and West Thumb Thermal Area on our way to the campground. Got excited about seeing our first bison...just before we ended up seeing hundreds of bison in the upper Yellowstone River basin. The days highlight was probably seeing all the minnows in the aptly named Fishing Cone. Ended the day with some Sweetgrass for a refreshing beverage.
