August 24, 2014 marks 30 years to the day since my father, Samuel L. Booker, died. Even though its been 30 years he is still missed greatly by his children, Greg Williams Sr., Shaun Booker, and me. He was taken from us so young, age 49. He never got the joy of being a grandfather, and his five grandchildren never had the chance to be spoiled by him. He was a brilliant, kind, strong, loving, hard-working man, who sacrificed everything, including his life, so we could have the lives he dreamed for us. We miss you Dad.
