August 30, 2013- Cloudy today looks like rain later on. Trish and I were sad to hear that a lady we knew passed away a couple days ago from a car accident. I personally met her once at the United Way Building in Owen Sound during a group meeting on weight loss. She had a warm smile and someone I would feel very comfortable sitting next to and chatting away. It made me look at myself how I was growing up and realize I probably was not the most approachable guy. I think being hard in hearing and having trouble saying certain words may have caused me to be this way. I also would not talk having a fear I may not understand what other person saying and saying something totally off the wall. What have I learned from this? Never to judge someone without walking in thereshoes. Now that my hearing is better I look forward to talking to the gas attendant, the store clerks, waitress etc. I enjoy it when I am out somewhere and someone catches my eye a total stranger looking sad just to go up to them and crack a joke or just talk. The smile on there face brings out the warmth inside of me. RIP Ginny seeing you across the table made me see the reflextion on me.
