August 7th - update on the 6th...Long drive... we were very tired. Ken was having quite a time with the trailer. It was not cooperating on the yuck roads we traveled. Put a bit o stress on the day. The 7th was much of the same... a bit windy near the end but a much shorter day. Thank the Good Lord. Jake got to eat at Chick-Fil-A today right across the street from the Daytona Speedway. Pretty big place... Traffic was very decent (given no racing join on and 90+ degree weather). The people at Chick-Fil-A were so kind and amazing. Very good to be there! We had some fun when we got here. Dropped a bunch of stuff off at the RV (out of the car) so we could all ride together. We will be looking for a storage unit tomorrow to unload the trailer and make sure we can find all the school items we need for a week from Monday. YIKES! We ate at Sweet Tomatoes. Ken and the boys love it. It was a decent place... Im not a huge buffet fan. I might be persuaded on a cruise however! :) We went shopping for a new bathing suit for Aaron. Poor monkey has been wearing one that is two sized too small. We finally had to go get one when he went to the bathroom (to warm up the seat Jim Shevlin) and couldnt pull up his suit. He waited about ten minutes before one of us went to find him to see what was going on so long. He was standing in the stall with his suit just up past his knees and almost crying... he was so frustrated. We had one of those laughs where you lose all your energy it was so funny! Aaron was not going to laugh but he conceded to it (he is one of those kids that catches laughter quite easily). We scored on suits, sweats and jeans at Dillards. The sales clerk was super nice too! We ended up going for a swim and taking the rest of the night off, resting and enjoying the great staff here at the Port Richey HI Express! On to work tomorrow rearranging the RV on campus and setting things up and seeing if things work! Please pray for that! Have a super night everyone! The Bs!
