Austin Friends & Family: I am happy that our proposed Urban MagLev system is cheaper than the light-rail option currently considered in Travis County. Austinites have the inherent right to consider all system options, both private and public, to meet their transportation needs. Despite the fact that we are a private company, Gordon Atlantic consciously seeks to act in the publics best interest. Whether or not our system is finally implemented is not as important, as Austinites being able to self-determine their own future. We have a made a RARE decision to share with the public the V.1 version of our proposal. There have been a few minor changes to the route, however, the overall goal remains the same - to build the first urban MagLev in the United States connecting the Austin Bergstorm International Airport to Austins key economic development nodes. We appreciate your support, as you, as Austinites, consider your transportation options.
