Australia Council Launch Significant Funding Round for Artists with Disability. The Australia Council for the Arts has announced a significant dedicated funding round for artists with disability in 2014. The Arts and Disability Program will offer $300,000 to assist artists with disability to apply for funds for arts projects and arts development. Grants of up to $10,000 will be available for career development and up to $20,000 for projects. The Australia Council will offer support to applicants to assist with the application process and the opportunity to submit applications in their preferred format. Arts Access Australia hopes that this level of access will become standard for Australia Council funding rounds. Guidelines for the program will be available from 10 December as part of the Council’s 2014 Funding Guide.
