Australian Beatbox Championship 2014 - (reflection) So after a hard fought day yesterday I am the vice champion of Australia! I want to start by saying that yesterday I had done everything I possibly could. I was much more polished as compared to last year and had moved up from top 4 to vice champ which I am very proud of myself for. The battles last night were intense and Australian level of beatboxing has definitely stepped up. I first want to congratulate all the 15 competitors on a job well done! I wanna give a special mention to 2 people who suprised me last night Luke Bellamy and David Yarrow! I honestly was not expecting what you guys delivered yesterday, it just came out of nowhere! You are definitely going to be a powerful force in the future! I wanna give a massive mention to the following people. Caleb Wilson Thanks for a good battle bro I enjoyed it, you suprised with some techniques man you have definitely come a far wauy since we first met at the pushover back last year! Callum Clr Reynolds what can I say bro, you had me on the ropes! This was tight and I honestly thought you had me in the extra time. I was a massive ass to you on stage and coulda been more suttle hahahahah. But keep doing your thing bro, you are a massive force to be reckoned with and you are going to be Australian champion one day mark my words! Lance Ace Oliver dude, I dunno where to start, when they announced ACE VS Z-MAN I was just lost for words, we met way too soon brother, but I guess thats the nature of the game. You are an amazing beatboxer with so much creativity. You brought it hard and had me on the ropes, I had to get out a finals technique! This isnt even your final form bro, keep going hard and being you! Thank you for an unforgettable battle, it was truly Goku vs Pikkon! These championships were a very emotional experience for me as I had to battle two of my very best friends, which is never an easy thing! Terry Evgeniadis congratulations bro you are the champ! I am so happy that it was you that won this title. It just goes to show what you can achieve, I hope this victory sparks you to keep pushing bro, your true potential has not even been unlocked yet. Just train a bit more and you will be unstoppable bro. Thank you for an unforgettable finals round! Finally I want to thank Niek Dingemans Josh Hansson and Thomas Thumagin Hornicus for being amazing judges. I would have hated to be in your position, as all these battles were far to intense. Great job you guys did yesterday :)! These champs have been emotional as I had to battle 2 of my best mates, which is never an easy thing! I can confidently say that yesterday was one of the best nights of my life! I am only going to keep getting better and better and am more motivated then ever to excel my beatboxing capabilities higher then ever!
