Australian Youth Representative to the UN Adam Pulford, this year’s Youth Representative to the United Nations, will be in Tasmania from Monday June 24 to Thursday June 27. Adam is looking to run 60‐minute sessions with young people aged 18 and over during his time here. Each year, one young person is selected to represent all young Australians (aged 16‐25) and the issues that are important to them, both at home in Australia and on the international stage at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The 2013 Representative |Adam Pulford is 23 and believes in young people and the power they have to create change within their communities. He comes to this role of this year’s Youth Representative to the United Nations with leadership, facilitation and coordination experience through working with youth organisations from across the country, including UN Youth Australia, the Oaktree Foundation and PROJECT ROCKIT.
