Authorities in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh have ordered evacuation of people from coastal areas. Rescue teams have been deployed at vulnerable points as cyclone Hudhud has intensified into a very severe cyclonic storm. It is due to hit the two states Odisha and Andhra tomorrow. Among the 4 lakh people to be evacuated, at least 1.5 lakh would be evacuated in Ganjam while another 1 lakh would be housed in safe shelters in Gajapati district.
