Available dogs - Marshall This boy came in from Temora pound on Wednesday. He is a Staffy mix probably around 18 months old (he still has very puppyish ways) and seems to be in great condition - wonder what happened to his family? Marshall is a big chunky boy but very gentle, soft and calm. Hes still a bit timid but growing in confidence each day. Apparently he was a long time in the pound, and I dont know whether hes ever lived in family home. When he first arrived, Marshall was very tentative on the bare floor boards in my home (they used to be polished floor boards, but too many dogs have lived here ....) and he point blank refused to walk on the deck at first .... just too scary!! Hes now getting used to everything and really making himself at home. Still cant get him to walk on the lead. He just sits and refuses to budge. But well get there. Marshall is great with the other dogs, he does not appear to have an ounce of aggression in him. He runs around with Brydie and Cody getting into mischief and stealing kisses (hes particularly smitten with Brydie). And he just loves loooong snoozes in front of the fire. Hes booked in for his vet work at the end of the week but because of his timidity Im going to wait a few days before I list him on Pet Rescue. Just get to know him a little better and get him more used to being in a home. Some pics of him taken yesterday. (Maryanne)
