***Available for Adoption!*** The compliments were flying for the handsome Cane Corso mix named Rocky as he orientated through the initial exams and process of NYC AC&C. At eight years old he is homeless due to a landlord issue, and at one hundred and seven pounds, the shelter is the last place he should be. A stately gentleman who is very friendly and sociable. His medical exam revealed some typical senior issues with the teeth and eyes, small areas of dry skin. There is a need for follow up veterinary care to check out inter-digital cysts in between his toes but nothing confirmed, just suspected. Rocky was complimented for allowing all handling but he also walks well on a leash and sits on command. Impressive but tNYC AC&C does not allow seniors to linger and they have countered their lovely remarks with a place on the euthanasia list tomorrow. We must help this great boy, he needs a foster or adopter by noon. Time is short and the tasks needed are sharing, caring, and stopping this dog from taking his last walk with his tail wagging in trust. Noon comes quickly.
