Avery had a great day and we are grateful! He has bottomed out. His ANC is 0, so he is getting neupogen shots (like a Champ) each day to stimulate the growth of white blood cells. He is at great risk for infection, so pray hard that he stays infection free. Hes also on 2 IV anti-nausea meds and takes 3 meds orally throughout the day...and handling it all very well! We are so proud of him. Unfortunately, Avery is back in his norm. This is the life that he is most familiar with. This is the life that he expects. With this life he has shown us the true definition of resiliency. And I agree with the Doc when she says, it is truly admirable how he handles all of this. #AveryStrong
