June 23rd, 1985, Air India Flight AI 182 flying the Montréal Canada-London Heathrow-New Delhi was Blown Up by a bomb while Cruising at FL310 (altitude: 31,000 feets / 9,400 metres above sea level), desintegrating and crashing in the Atlantic Ocean while in Irish Airspace. Fatalities: 329 people On Board -including Pilots and Crew Members (NO SURVIVORS). -268 Canadians. -27 British Citizens. -24 Indians. It was the 1st Bombing of a Boeing 747 jet in Aviation History. It was the Largest Mass Murder in Canadian History and Deadliest Aviation disaster to occur over a body of water.
