Avoiding things that make a horse scared is one of the fastest ways to create an unsafe horse. If you never take your horse out of its comfort zone your horse will never get a chance to get good at being out of its comfort zone. If you take the horse a little way out of its comfort zone each day after a while it will get more comfortable with being uncomfortable and itll get confident with the things its not sure about. Its our responsibility as to keep pushing the boundaries and teach our horse to handle new levels of challenge, uncertainty and adversity. Working with horses complacency is your worst enemy!
