According to a new survey conducted by USA Today, 44 percent blame texting, saying its made it more difficult to determine whether an outing is just a casual hang-out, or an official date. Its the most confusing for those ages 18 to 24, who rely the most on texting to communicate. Fifty-seven percent of 18 to 24-year-olds admit that technology has blurred the lines, followed by 48 percent of those age 25 to 29. The 35-to-54 age group remains the most unaffected by the changes in dating.
