Awesome afternoon touring a New Mexico seedstock operation. Check out the silage pit. They were chopping and filling today. Local dairy producers are the end market for that. The Blue Grama Grass, even in its dormant stage, has a good nutritional profile for cattle. This year, well-timed rains have resulted in a great looking crop. We were told probably the best in nearly 10 years. Amazing too how difficult it is to find 15 bulls in a 1,200 acre pasture.... actually we never did find that bunch.
