Ayer estuve riéndome cinco minutos seguidos, me llegó esto: Dear Choreographers, It gives me great pleasure to invite you to showcase your work and your dancers with Dance-Forms 66th International Choreographers Showcase to be presented at the Varaždin National Theater in Varaždin, Croatia! on November 21 and 23, 2014. The Varaždin National Theater is an elegant and prestigious venue with a professional stage covered with a dance floor. The theater is equipped with modern lights and sound system, and clean facilities for all the artistic needs of the performers. This exciting trip from November 19 day of arrival in Varaždin, Croatia through November 24, 2014 day of return will give the selected choreographers an excellent opportunity to present their work, to network with directors, producers, other artists (hopefully to negotiate new engagements!) and to earn a share of the revenue from ticket sales of two performances. Choreographers and their dancers receive five nights accommodation. We provide a complete production package which includes the theater, licence to present the showcase, lighting and sound, technical assistance, publicity, printed programs, box office, and pre-show rehearsal arrangements. All for $1,300.00 for solos and $1,600.00 for duets (airfare excluded). Special participation fee for a group of four dance-artists is $2,880.00 with five nights hotel accommodation for four included (airfare excluded). Dance makers will submit their condensed professional bio, color pictures of the performers in JPEG format and program notes. A video link or DVD of the work to be presented is required. The payment will be mailed in the form of a check in US dollars made payable to Dance-Forms Productions to our mailing address: C/O Susana B.
