Ayogu Chukwuebuka Temple: Only African parents always talk about how they had to walk 5000 miles to get to school...Barefoot...Across the mountain...With a goat... Only African parents always lectured you about hard work when you were a kid.Meanwhile...they always called you downstairs to pass the remote to them... Only African parents always bring up marriage but refuse to allow you to leave the house.They are always like, No dating until after youre married! Only African parents always answer the same way... Youre asking for some privacy,they are like, Please...Dont make me slap you!... youre talking about going out,having friends,doing anything besides school work and again you hear, Please...Dont make me slap you! There are only two questions that are arised on family reunions: 1.Hows school? 2.You have a boyfriend/girlfriend? Only African parents whenever chastising you always blame it on the influence of the one American celebrity they know... or insult you by calling you a goat...or some other animal... Only African parents never let you celebrate Halloween.They are like, This is some White nonsense! Only African parents always call you a disgrace at home,but brag about you in public... And as annoying as your parents quirks are... you love making them proud! =)).
