B-17 Our Gang from the 324 the BS 91st BG 42-5069. Our Gang was one of the early B-17s assigned to the 91st. The crews names were provided by Charles Leiman, original bombardier for Smittys crew. The photo was taken on 15 June 43 by Pearson 8th AFHQ after the #2 super charger failed and Our Gang aborted the mission to Le Mans and turned back before the rest of the planes also aborted and returned.
