///BABU OWINO’s 9 MONTHS INOFFICE: TOP 10 ACHIEVEMENTS. 1. Most if not all the politicallysuspended and or expelled comradeshave been reinstated back to thesystem unconditionally. Some ofwhom include Kennedy Wary(KSC),Samuel Ragira(OCS-Chiromo), BenSrikal(Main) & many others fromdifferent campuses. 2. Immediately after his election asSonu boss, he further clinched theposition of the President of theKenya University StudentsOrganisation(KUSO) unopposed. 3. The police have refrained fromfrequently arresting innocentcomrades which used to be thetrend in the previous regimes. Andin case of any serious arrest, he hasalways gone to his pocket to pay forthe fines of any amount to see thatno comrade spends a night in thefilthy unhealthy cells. 4. Babu & his team of fellow lawyers& Sonu leaders made a historicalvisit to the Industrial Area Prizonswhere they donated bags & boxes ofgoodies & shared alot with the innmates. The chairman also visited thewidow in Mathare after an incidentin which her family was attacked &husband madered by mercilessthugs at their home alongThika Rd.He donated Ksh. 35,000 & othergoods to the widow. 5. Babu mobilised all the universitystudents across the country & ledthe demonstration dubbed# VisionMay20th ,against the illintentions of one Prof. Kaimenyi ofdoubling the university fees thatwould otherwise see the regularstudents pay upto Ksh. 58,500 persemester. 6. Threatened the HELB CEO Mr.Ringera in a firery interview @ KTNthat he would feel the wrath ofangry & hungry comrades if thelatter did not receive their dueswithin the time frame stipulated by KUSO. This made the CEO to sweatprofusely & within 7hrs from thetime of interview money had trickled down to varios students accounts.Infact HELB had to send appologysms to each comrade for delay,somthing that has never happenedin history. 7. President Owino has also secured internships for comrades in various companies, farms & schools including KCB, EQUITY, SAFARICOM,AGA KHAN Academy & the powerfu lBROOKHOUSE International School!Not forgeting the 12 slots ofscholarship which he managed to secure from COTU & other like minded NGO’s .8. He has ensured that theconstruction of The UoN 22′ Towerskicks off after the deliberate delayby the previous regimes. 9. Sonu office has been relocatedfrom the pre-colonial mortuarywhere it used to be, to the prestigious & bumbuluous R-ZIKI Restaurant where comrades eat chicken at will for free! 10. Babu Owino has worked roundthe clock & finally seen to it that Fr.Wamugunda reclaims his exgirlfriend in Mali.
