BACK FROM CHRISTMAS.....HOW CAN I KEEP CLOSE TO CHRIST THROUGHOUT THE YEAR ! .....The angel told her,Do not be afraid, Mary.....you will.....bear a son and you will name Him Jesus......Luke 1:30-31....Matthew 28:16-20 When Mary recieved the news that she would become the mother of the Redeemer, she went to be with her cousin Eliszabeth....but when she came back to her daily routine. After the sheperds witnessed the birth of Christ in Bethlehem, Luke 2:20 says they returned to their work in the fields, caring for their sheep by day and night. Later Mary, and Joseph returned to their hometown of Nazareth where they continued with their normal, everyday duties. Likewise , we today must return to our daily routines following the celebratiion of Christmas., while remebering not to leave Christ behind. As Mary and Joseph took Jesus back with them, we too take Him along in our hearts, lives, and attitudes. Many kinds of people still follow Jesus....sheperds, nurses, store clerks, factory workers, carpenters, attorneys, doctors, teachers....the list goes on and on. We all travel the road back from Christmas in our our routine, daily duties. Wherever we go throughout the new year, we can take Christ and His love with us. Prayer : Christ Jesus help us to go into all the world gladly today, knowing thay you are always with us. Amen.
