BAD BREATH The tongue is responsible for more than 80% of BAD BREATH. The bacteria found on the tongue produce chemicals and fatty acids that produce the smell. Have it in mind that the white film that forms on your tongue is because of the bacteria and their products. Other minor sources of bad breath are your mouth, nose, gum, oesophagus, stomach. Therefore we can say that brushing your teeth or using mouthwash or chewing gum is NOT the best way to prevent mouth odour. The best is to clean your tongue!
