BAD SCAM ALERT FOR FREE FACE CREAM ON FACEBOOK! Okay ..... Like an old aging IDIOT .... I responded to the free face cream ad on Facebook. It has a picture of Estee Lauder and Clinique, with an offer for a free trial for P&P of £2.99. In a moment of weakness, I responded! (I know! It was a dumb decision!). Anyway, once I had placed the order..... then I read the small print. Which was that I was signing up to a monthly subscription of £110.00 per month. (Yeah I freaked out!) I used the cooling off option and cancelled the order immediately ..... but guess what? I have been charged for the P&P and a random £5. Ive had to cancel my card! Please share this post, maybe it will prompt others who thought they were getting a bargain to check their bank accounts.
