BAHAMAS IMMIGRATION FOLLOWUP- The rounding up of illegal immigrants is a ongoing process. AUDIO ONLY. ..press play . Saturday illegal immigrants numbers r in. Its 77 immigrants out of that 12 r children they include, Jamaicans, Philippines , Cubans and Haitians. All picked up- but in all 499 is in lock up to be deported today Tuesday. Its alleged that the previous ruling party leader was issuing work permits etc in order for them to straighten out their lives. Then the new party came into power- the PLP. This new party supposedly also gave them time. Its alleged that hardly any of these immigrants made good on their promise to straighten out their documents etc....resulting in this new immigration policy by the current government.
