BAM! Marianne nails it! When it comes to terrorism -- and when it comes to defeating it -- feelings do matter, clerics do matter, and philosophy does matter. This battle is being waged on deep subconscious levels. The force now tapping into the darkest corners of the human psyche will only be defeated from the most light-filled corners of the human heart. Terrorism is hatred turned into a political force, and the only thing powerful enough to fundamentally override it is to turn love into a political force.
