BARBADIANS BENEFITTING FROM SOLAR SWITCH Householders who have installed photovoltaic systems are already starting to positively impact Barbados hefty annual oil import bill. This is the view of Richard Singh, Sales and Marketing Manager with Innogen Technologies, as he recently delivered a lecture on the topic: Energy Economics. He says significant savings are already being realised and they will continue to grow annually. Noting that Barbados annual oil import bill is about U.S. $400 million, he says the savings are even more significant when the commercial installations are factored into the equation.
