BARDARBUNGA Volcano eruption on Iceland biggest in centuries (and maybe the longest erupting) - now on a 5 out of 8 scale, comparable to Mt St Helens and Mt Vesuvius.. its also spewing out toxic sulphur dioxide gas, now 2x safe levels for all animals and humanoids in N Iceland and 6x safe levels in E Iceland - so far, mostly rural areas, but if the wind shifts to the SE, their main population is in trouble.. there have been eruptions in the past that caused a nuclear winter on earth as the atmosphere filled with debris and dust for several years, blotting out the sun.. nice planet! but the molten magnetic iron core deflects cosmic solar radiation, or the sun would fry us in no time.. https://youtube/watch?v=fmCJSS2YAP0
