BBC Radio 4 is marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day with a broadcast of the corporations original 1944 news reports from June 6 to June 9. These are the original radio bulletin scripts that kept British listeners informed about the start of the invasion and the events that followed. These are not, however, the original broadcasts, but new recordings read by Benedict Cumberbatch, Patrick Stewart and Toby Jones, and they are first being broadcast at the same time of day as their original transmission. You can find out more about the broadcasts and listen to them by following the links below. It is very impressive. Let us know what you think!
