BBC World News TV: Protesters regroup as the deadline passes to clear the streets Student demonstrators are trying to break a deadlock with the government in Hong Kong having taken steps to begin talks on demands for wider political reform. Civil servants have been returning to work in Hong Kong, after more than a week of mass protests which paralysed the heart of the city.
