BBC World Service Australian Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, is in Papua New Guinea today with the controversial Manus Island asylum likely to take centre stage. Australia sends asylum seekers arriving by boat for detention and processing in offshore camps there but this process has come under serious scrutiny. Conditions have been strongly criticised and violent riots have recently claimed the life of one asylum-seeker from Iran.
