BDP AND UDC MANUPULATE INNOCENT STUDENTS FOR POLITICAL PROFITS What will LATER transcend as the much talked about SRC suspensions started as an agreement between political formations in university of Botswana namely MASS-BNF, UBCD-BCP,GS26-BDP and BSMD-BMD to boycott class till some pertinent issues were addressed. The students proposed that the prevailing habit of using student’s problems for political mileage be discouraged as it stood in the way of solving their concerns. While all look settled the gs26 will later pull off in the eve of class boycott and with no reasons advanced but its general membership and activists protested and participated against the word of their movements. The boycott was peaceful and brief as it lasted only a day and to be called off the following day at the order of grace Mudzila the deputy permanent secretary in the ministry of education and intervention by the area MP Dumelang Saleshando who was graced the boycott at the invitation of the SRC .two weeks elapsed before the 10 SRC and six other students members mainly BCP activists were surprised with suspensions from government sponsorship, whether it was a coincidence or not it will turn out that all BDP activists who actively participated were spared and all recognizable activists from opposition were roped in despite the fact that some never sat their foot nor participated in the boycott. The high court will later vindicate the suspended and truly they were represented Duma Boko an attorney and president of Botswana national Front. All looked well until the university started manufacturing internal hearings which albeit adopting an up down rather than down up approach. The hearings started at the highest disciplinary body of the UB instead of the director. Despite these gross irregularities the institution was resolved and continued swim in a pool of confused legal proceedings to charge the accused.On the process accusations and rumors flying around that the institution was under pressure from Tsholetsa house through the UB BDP dominated council to dismantle opposition from the constituency in 2014 through suspensions gained credibility. When the rumor mill get it that the implicated students were to be suspended from university for one year, a rather bizarre developments took place, a day after the president of BCP Dumelang Saleshando dedicated a considerable portion of his time in president state of nation address response in parliament to condemn the tramped up charges against the students, the suspended SRC members at the influence of BNF publicity secretary Moeti Mohwaswa responded with press conference graced by only UDC functionaries and ZANUPF deputy director for public information Psychology Maziwisa though purporting it to be an SRC Press conference lambasting the BCP president. It will appear his sin was the fact that his step mother Lydon Saleshando is a deputy vice chancellor at UB.At the press conference the facts were twisted to give impression that only pro UDC students were suspended, and by who.. All this allegations didn’t practically take into consideration that he Gomolemo Motswaledi BMD PRESIDENT and UDC candidate for the constituency is actually an executive secretary of UB and by the same extension and logic they practically implying that he is suspending the students despite obvious reasons that by his virtue he is actually coordinating success of their charges. When invited journalists tried to interrogate these allegations, they were forced to keep quiet and rather focus in questions relating to Zimbabwean indigenous policy. When one student tried to clarify something a loud uproar of disapproval led by the BNF publicity secretary ensued and he was subsequently chased out of the press conference, but that gruesome assault on right of opinion didn’t surprise many considering the caliber of the men in attendance (PSYCHOLOGY MAZiWISA, mogabe ‘s right hand man)Who appear to be the source of inspiration and a lecture of conspiracy and deception skills for both the BNF publicity secretary and his lap dogs.
