Even in our immediate families let alone outsiders? Many of us claim to be faithful to God yet we deceive ourselves daily in failing each other and those that God Sends our way daily! If only we would obey God; the Name of the Lord would spread to the unbelievers increasingly through us! May God Help us to be faithful to Jesus Christ and obey His Word to LOVE one another; through which the world would see and know that we are His disciples!!! But whoso hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:17,18 KJV When you see your brethren are in need and you are in a position to help and you dont; what do you think you are doing? You are shutting up your bowels of love from your brethren! Does that show that you have the love of God? Is it not easy to love with our mouth? I love you I love you I love you! Sweet to hear but very painful when not followed up with action! Lord, Help us to love one another truly as You Taught us in Jesus Name. Amen!!! For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? Matthew 25:35-40 NASB When you see and meet others needs, you are meeting the needs of our Lord Jesus Christ whether you are aware of it or not! Your reward is sure when you do this! Otherwise, you reward is also sure; but in the opposite sense! For God cannot be mocked; we shall all reap whatever we have sown. To obey is better than sacrifice!!! Jesus told them another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed ears, then the weeds also appeared. Matthew 13:24-26 (NIVUK) Hmmm! So, dont be surprised that theres a good measure of insincerity, hatred and general chaos wherever the Spirit of God is at work today! Satan is on the prowl looking for whom to devour! God has His Plan and Purpose though; for the believer, Gods Plan and Purpose is good, acceptable and perfect in Jesus Christ!!! (14) that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, Ephesians 4:14 The body of Christ must be built up through Godly Standard made available through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to the body of Christ. This is to help steady the ship so that believers will be rock solid as should be in Jesus Christ! Only then will they no longer be tossed up and down with diverse winds of doctrines, trickery, cunning, craftiness and deceitful plotting that humankind is capable of! Better to obey God and be on the safe side in Jesus Christ than fall for mans falsehood at the behest of false prophets etc. who have gone out amongst believers.
