The Labour Party has made a commitment to ensure all core public service workers are paid at least the living wage. “The PSA is a proud member of the Living Wage Aotearoa New Zealand campaign, and having the Government set a positive example for other employers would be fantastic. “The PSA is politically non-partisan, but it is important to recognise good policy where it exists – and today’s announcement is certainly good policy,” said Richard Wagstaff, PSA national secretary.
