The quality present in a person that give intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, including a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest; 3. Attractiveness, loveliness, magnificence, splendour What the scriptures say with regard to beauty: 1. Prov 31:30 "Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised"; 2. 1 Pet 3:4 "You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God"; 3. 1 Sm 16:7 "People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart". Characteristics which define beauty are wholeness, harmony and radiance.
