BEETS Program Hiring Youth 15-19 for Fall! Are you interested on learning new job skills, working out door, or working with child? well BEETS is now hiring! BEETS interns: Maintain community and school gardens in the Western Addition Learn critical job skills (resume/cover letter writing, job search, interviewing, etc.) Assist our elementary school garden classes Attend field trips and educational opportunities Earn ~$800/session (depending on hours worked) Eligibility: 15-19 years of age on September 18, 2014 Living in San Francisco (priority given to those living in the Western Addition) Interested in gaining experience in basic horticulture, environmental education, and basic job skills Able to commit to the entire fall 2014 session: September 18 - December 11, 2014 Available: Tuesday and Thursday 3:45pm-5:45pm and 1-2 Saturdays/Month (Additional hours weekday afternoons as scheduled) Applications must be received by Friday, September 5th at 5pm.
