BEFORE - 5 days post pregnancy AFTER - 7 months later “So yes, my husband is the BEST trainer in the world and you’d think he would have smacked that cheeseburger out of my hand…but NO he didnt because he knew better than to mess with a pregnant girls food! I was growing a baby, I was happy. I fed my body nourishing food most of the time but seriously any mumma out there knows when that craving strikes there is no stopping it! This was my first trip to ‘baby growing land’ and I had no idea how much my body would have changed. I struggled physically to do any form of walking or exercise as I was diagnosed with SPD 18 weeks into pregnancy so with an unstable pelvis this didnt help me with maintaining my weight. I gained 30kg (all completely worth it for creating my little human). After he was born I was left with a beautiful baby boy BUT a huge floppy body! The last several months I have spent days in tears if I saw my body in the mirror. I knew I had a huge amount to loose and I didnt want to yoyo this weight or fail so I did this slowly until I was in the right head space and had the determination and energy to see my goal through. I started walking straight after birth 3 days a week, and after 6 weeks started the Progressive Mummy Meltdown classes. I didn’t diet straight away - I mentally wasnt strong enough. I only started a nutritional guide 3 weeks ago to shift the last 5kg - which I have now achieved!. So today, 7 months later I have lost my 30kg, enjoy a new healthy lifestyle, practise yoga 2 times a week, jump in the Mummy Meltdown classes when I can and COMPLETELY loving myself and life post pregnancy! *NOTE please no negative comments.
