BEING SALT OF THE EARTH - “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” (Matthew 5:13) Our Lord Jesus Christ is making a statement of fact here when He says, “We are the salt of the earth!” It is not a command or wish list. It is to be reality here and now. The implication is that we are to be what Our Abba Father God has already made us to be. Adonai, today we resolved to live our lives for Our Lord and Master Jesus Christ in a way that will positively “SALT” our community. Holy Spirit, thank You for helping us, Lord, to stand for the good and be a salty influence for Your Good News in the world around us. We prayed this to The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit! Amen!
