BENTLY (A0983884) **** THEY DECIDED I WAS TOO BIG AFTER 2 YEARS**** Meet Bently, a 3 year old Poodle mix. Bently was surrendered by his humans after having him 2 years because they felt he was too big. A POODLE???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME????!!!! According to his former owners, Bently is a very friendly dog, he likes both dogs and cats, is playful around them, even likes to play with children. Their exact words when surrendering him were: “HE’S FRIENDLY AND PLAYFUL.” But they don’t want him anymore, makes sense. Oh yeah, he is even house trained not have accidents inside the house. Bently is very confused with his new surroundings, he has no idea where he is, why he is here, or where his humans are. Bently is also very afraid at this moment, so he is in defense mode. Can you blame him? His whole world has been turned upside down, through no fault of his own. Bently is on the list to be destroyed tonight, and with the way he is behaving, he will surely be the first dog to be PTS tomorrow morning. You see they don’t want to waste any time on dog’s like Bently, they don’t care he is scared, they just want him gone. I bet once Bently is out of the shelter he is a completely different dog, I believe he is the playful and friendly dog his owners claim him to be. But without help, no one will ever know that. Bently needs a savior tonight, someone who will look past his fear and see the sweet dog he is. are you that savior? You don’t need a red cape to be a hero.
