BEWARE OF THE PHARISEES MARK 8:15 In life, there are things that can rule us and there are many things we can govern, but it depends on who we are and what we stand for. There are experiences that educate us from the choices we make. Sometimes, they become apparent through people we know as well as strangers. Those people are not always godly personalities, but they can still have a major impact on us if we choose to live by to their standards. However, inspiration can be negative or positive. Influences can lead us into darkness or into light, but it depends on who they are and how we perceive them. Be careful who you follow and whose advice you apply into your life. Be mindful whose voice pierces through your eardrums and into your soul. Regardless of how valuable someone is, it is important to be conscious of their principles, because they can persuade you to castigate your destiny. © Isaac Benjamin-Nyarko 2013.
