BEWARE*****SCAM*****SCAM*****SCAM WATCH OUT FOR THIS. WE KNEW IT WAS A SCAM AND WE PLAYED ALONG TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY WANTED. We just had a phone call from a person with an Indian accent who said he was from windows and wanted to talk to me about my computer getting infected with malicious files. Later he said he was from Microsoft. He then got his "Supervisor" on the line and he had us to run some checks from the command prompt. The make it look like they can see your computer because the clsid number he reads to you is the same on all computers. He then had us check for errors on an event viewer page. When it showed errors he sent me to a website with remote control software that he wanted to download. Now I knew what he wanted. They wanted to control my computer. PLEASE REPOST THIS !!!
