BEWARE THIS IS LONG. Happy New Years Eve 😘 2007 I became depressed, 2012 I became suicidal, 2014 I realized that I would be okay. This was probably the hardest year in my 19 years of living, mainly because I had to figure out how to find myself on my own. I no longer allow others and events in life to control my happiness. I stopped criticizing myself and learned to give myself credit. Now at the end of 2014, I can say that Im free, and at peace.. Because I chose to be happy. I kept a smile on my face through it all and thats what got me to this point. Im always asked why Im so open about my issues, well, if more people were open about things like this we could probably save more lives. There were nights where I made it to sleep because I was able to help a stranger by talking about what I felt and by listening, thats what made me feel better. I honestly would like to thank those who stood by me this year and the years before this. Mainly my mom, she stood up late at night just to listen to my problems, did everything she could to make sure I would be ok. My Aunt, Joan Bennett for bringing me to church and restoring my faith. My Bestfriend Quanisha Knight for answering her phone early in the morning, even being there when I would cry lol Im sorry about those times I woke you up. Ricoo Suave, my other Bestfriend for also answering my phone calls, being there to motivate me, and cheer me up with his stupidity lol & finally Michael Anthony Williams, he was there for it all, and without those late night drives this year just so I could fall asleep, those Sunday night trips to Dennys and IHOP, or even walks to the park even though he hated them (he would go because I love parks and it makes me happy lol) , I probably wouldnt have enjoyed this year at all. I appreciate you all, even people that checked up on me from time to time. Thank you. You all made this year my greatest achievement. And I apologize for this lengthy post :)
