BEYOND THE MIRACLES We have been blessed by God Almighty,to see many miracles,and we are very thankful to Him. But I want to stress again that the miracles are not the main thing.The WORD OF GOD is the ultimate.The miracles are called signs.They point you to the Word of God,so that you can have a personal relationship with JESUS. God doesnt exist for you,you exist for Him. In these last days,we need people with the same Spirit that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had,that said to the king that wanted them killed for their faith O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.(Daniel 3:16-18) They didnt deny Gods ability to save them,but they had a mindset that even if He didnt save them,they were willing to lay down their lives for Him. Where are the people of God who are willing to make sacrifices for Him? The gospel that we are sharing today was brought to us,by the blood of those that conveyed it. The Bible says and others were tortured, NOT ACCEPTING DELIVERANCE[they rejected it,not that it wasnt available]; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (OF WHOM THE WORLD WAS NOT WORTHY:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.(Hebrews 11:35-38) We as Christians must understand that this world is not our home,so we mustnt get too comfortable in it.The Bible says If Christ is our hope in this life only, we deserve more pity than any other people.(1 Corinthians 15:19) If your Christian life is all about what youll get in this world,you deserve to be pitied. Let your life be driven by the desire to propagate the Kingdom of God,and the blessings that you didnt even ask for,will come to you.(Matthew 6:33)
